Architecture firm Schenker Salvi Weber submitted the winning entry to redesign Wien Energie’s headquarters. They converted to an open plan system and rearranged everything to create a bright and airy office landscape that fosters communication while providing quiet areas to retreat for meetings and more focused work. The designers turned each floor into an office landscape, complete with warm, inviting, tactile materials and cheerful hues. Wood, carpet, fabric – all selected to optimise acoustics and create a warm colour scheme. 

The modular system is flexibly designed and includes workstation islands, creative boxes and cloakrooms. Just as when the building was first completed in 2009, System 2000 partition walls were used to divide up office space. The glass classic is innovatively simple, and its modular design offers a range of building element options, making it ideal for office redesigns. 

Its excellent acoustic insulation and the various accessory systems available, including acoustic and organisational elements and blinds, make System 2000 a versatile choice for modern office environments.
